Nutmeg developed her inner clown as a volunteer with children's charities!
We deliver circus to communities all over the world lacking access to our art form!
Nutmeg has travelled to the Philippines, Poland and all around the balkans and the UK delivering circus sessions and shows to kids who deserve smiles.
Please go check out the websites of these groups, and if you feel you can spare a donation or share it with your friends, it would mean the world!

It's been an extremely adventurous and ambitious journey volunteering with Performers Without Borders.
Nutmeg spent 1 month in the Philippines in winter 2024; the team created a fire show and a children's show, and spent the month touring the islands delivering the silliness they created to villages in incredibly rural and hard to reach places!
PWB is currently engaged in a 5 year tour and Nutmeg is extremely grateful for being a part of the team and all of the colourful and delightful adventures around the Philippines - with her eyes on next year's tour application!
Rain, sun, heat, mosquitoes... even when there are no roads ... NOTHING will stop us from getting ourselves and our equipment to these amazingly physically literate and talented children!
Nutmeg wrote several newsletters about our time in the Philippines - check it out!
Nutmeg has been a volunteer with the Flying Seagull Project for 3+ years! This incredible children's charity that brings circus, clowning and magic to the children in communities needing smiles; we visit refugee camps/hotels, domestic violence shelters, children's hospitals and schools for children with complex needs - all sorts of places in the UK and across Europe where there are children and young people in need of some laughter!
We believe in everybody's right to a childhood, and access to play and cultural society is a human right.
Nutmeg's love for hula hoops brings connection, sharing and joy. All of the squeals of happiness and excitement from the children is so rewarding! Nutmeg has ound it transformative and empowering getting to work with amazing fellow clowns and cannot wait for the next tour!

Nutmeg has taken part in extensive training as a volunteer with these incredible children's charities. Nutmeg has experience working with all ages, large and diverse groups that include a wide range of physical abilities and even working non verbally with multi lingual groups

All circus practitioners prioritize safety, and 3+ years experience working in extremely sensitive environments has given Nutmeg invaluable experience in learning how to appropriately respond to safeguarding or the security concerns that come with working with children. Nutmeg is an advocate for consent, curiosity, autonomy - and creating not only SAFE spaces, but BRAVE spaces!

Nutmeg has:
-Basic first aid training
-Safeguarding qualification
-Enhanced DBS
- Full PLI
-Certificates in diversity, inclusion and accessibility from HulaHoop Intergral and CircusWorks
- 5+ years experience working with kids
-10+ years experience as a circus performer
Nutmeg is confident in managing large groups, language barriers, SEND access needs etc

These groups have strengthened my own values on accessibility, diversity and inclusion.
All human beans deserve
Circus is an amazing tool for so many types of learning, we learn circus skills but ALSO: teamwork, determination, courage, safety and self belief

Nutmeg produced an ambitious fundraiser event for PWB in Sept 2025!
Nutmeg was the sole producer, organizer and exhibitor of the entire event; an ambitious circus cabaret with world renowned performers, a dangerous aerial show, a live raffle with amazing prizes and a live music set with a 14 piece Balkan jazz band!!
It was a great success and together we raised £1480 for PWB!
